While it’s known for being budget-friendly, the services provided felt pricier than anticipated—especially when factoring in the quality of the amenities. The spacious room was surprisingly comfortable and clean. The air conditioning worked well, which is crucial in this humid climate. I enjoyed some downtime by the pool, where the bar served a nice selection of khmer food and drinks. What stood out most was the staff—they were friendly and incredibly accommodating. The hotel also offered handy services, such as a welcome drink, airport shuttle, tours, and even laundry service. This made my stay easy and enjoyable, especially since I was able to book a day tour without hassle. While Chilled Backpacker isn’t the epitome of luxury, its blend of convenience and affordable pricing makes it a smart choice for the budget-conscious traveler seeking a reliable, comfortable stay without breaking the bank.
